Whatever flavor of holiday you celebrate, tis the season for sexy gifts. Here are some I’m a fan of, and a few I hope I find under my tree! 😉
If you’re local to Asheville or visiting for the holidays, I highly recommend that your first stop be VaVaVooom, a woman-owned small business that offers a more upscale, tasteful experience than your usual sex shop. All the toys are body-safe, and a quick stroll through the shop (there are now two locations) is enough to excite the senses. If you’re not local, you can also check out their offerings online. (The image above is of the Thistle & Spire Medusa bodysuit, which they carry. They also have a wonderful selection of other lingerie and sexy apparel.)
Why’s This Box Buzzing?
For toys specifically, I recommend the Womanizer clit suction, the Rose toy, We Vibe for couples, and g spot wand. For someone with a prostate, I’ve heard great things about the Aneros Helix Trident (prostate massager).
And I firmly believe that a fuzzy massage mitt belongs in every home! I’m normally not a fan of fur, but these handmade ones are made from recycled fur coats. If you prefer synthetic, these look lovely.
Give the Gift of Adventure
If you’re in Asheville, a local glass blower offers a sexy couples glass-blowing class called “Blow Me.” As you might surmise, it’s flirty and filled with innuendo, and you get to take home several hand-made creations.
The Adventure Challenge offers fun date ideas, some spicy, some sweet.
And for the ultimate couples adventure, there’s room for one more couple in my Costa Rica vacation retreat coming up in February. If that date doesn’t work for you, I also offer private passionate intimacy retreats in Asheville.
Learn Something New
If you want to learn more about sexuality (learning leads to doing!), consider a subscription to OMGYes. It offers offers video demonstrations of techniques, animations, and what feels like an endless amount of learning for the curious-minded.
I’ve really been enjoying Layla Martin’s teachings, and I think any of her courses would make great gifts.
And, of course, there’s my best-selling book, Living an Orgasmic Life, which offers lots of information, some useful exercises to try with your lover, and much more.
Did I miss anything? If you’ve got an idea for a sexy gift, let me know!
